EN 1500 standards
Sri Lanka’s leading alcohol based hand-rub – Alco®Rub, manufactured by Rovik Lanka (Pvt.) Ltd and marketed by Mamro (Pvt.) Ltd has been tested, and proven its compliance with “EN 1500 standards”, which is the European Standard test for evaluating the efficacy of a hand-rub in disinfectant.
- Hygienic Hand Disinfection – use 3 ml of Alco®Rub to rub the hands for 30 seconds
- Surgical Hand Disinfection – use 9 ml of Alco®Rub to rub the hands and up to the elbows for 1.5 – 3 minutes
